He continued: from the 17 companies applying for the license, eight companies (five foreign companies and three Iranian companies) obtained a license after reviewing their professional qualifications and capabilities by the General Directorate of Food and Drug Administration.
The CEO of Qeshm monitoring of human health and standards Company added: These inspections are based on international standards including BRC, IFS, HACCP, GMP and ISO22000.
According to Abrari, Qeshm monitoring of human health and standards company, as the representative of the Ministry of Health, sends its expert inspectors to the food and drink manufacturing establishments of the country of origin in order to verify the principles of the standard terms and conditions, which, after confirmation, the product allowed to enter to the country.
He acknowledged that the Qeshm monitoring of human health and standards Company is currently the only company in Hormozgan province that has been authorized to take international inspections.
